Welcome to The Branding Iron Supper Club. Your hosts are Jeff and Cheri Powell. They have owned and operated The Branding Iron for 18 years. They purchased the restaurant from Jeff's parents, Bill and Jo Powell, who owned and operated it for 17 years.Before The Branding Iron this fine establishment was called Winks Alamo. This restaurant lies on the corner of Highway 13 and 73. Most people knew this as Smokie Joes Corner. At one time there was a bar on every corner.The Branding Iron's menu consists of steaks and seafoods. Nightly specials include pasta, ribs, and chicken and of course the Friday Night Fish Fry served family style. Prime Rib is serves nightly while it lasts. Whatever you order will go great with a glass of wine or your favorite beer. Most dinners come with soup and salad bar. Soups are homemade by Jeff and the salad bar has a variety of homemade salads made by Cheri. |

Open 7 days a week serving from 4:00pm until 10:00pm, you might want to come early to beat the crowd. If you get there after 5pm you can expect a wait, especially on weekends because of their great tasting food and excellent service. If you haven't been there for a while, you may come back and notice some familiar faces.Something else you might notice if you haven't been here in a while you would definitely notice the new look of the remodeled exterior and a new patio. There is a limited menu on Fridays, and our full menu the rest of the week. After a hard days work it's a beautiful place to kick back, relax, and listen to music and the calming sounds of the waterfall while enjoying the beautiful pond full of Koi fish. |
